Race Explorer’s two events this weekend could barely possibly be further from each other.  In Victoria, Australia, the annual Afterglow Trail Run was held, which features picturesque trail running with a theme.  Competitors are encouraged to become ‘trail unicorns’ by adorning the brightest rainbow colouring they can lay their hands on.  It all leads to a lot of fun with a real festive atmosphere.

Due to COVID precautions in Australia this year, the Afterglow became the Afterglow Redux, a virtual event (still with trail unicorns of course), for competitors to still hit the trails glowing.  The Race Explorer analytics can be found here: Afterglow 2020 – RACE EXPLORER

While far away in the beautiful Dinosaur Valley State Park in North Texas, participants challenged themselves to distances up to 100 miles!  That’s extreme to say the least and congratulations to those who were able to work through to the end.  With times exceeding 24 hours, it certainly gave us a little more to think about data wise with the development of the Race Explorer.  We got there and here it is: Dinosaur Valley Endurance Run 2020 – RACE EXPLORER
